Worship-Worthy Spring 2018 Buys from Beauty Influencers

As fellow die-hard followers of the Religion of Makeup, subscribing to a regular YouTube sermon is key to keeping our faith and from our most recent pilgrimage, we’ve rounded up the newest commandments from our favorite makeup junkies to help make sure you find your new holy grail products.

Hello October… on “NARSissist Wanted Palette”

In her recent product haul, Hello October gets positively preachy when it comes to the recently launched NARSissist Wanted Palette, but can you be converted? Hello October is keen to highlight the pink shimmery shades and the warmer toned burgundy red. The product follows on from the original NARSissist palette with the added benefit of fresher hues with a creamier finish.

What do we think?

With the recent launch of more inclusive makeup products, having a good face day is getting easier. Fenty has been a key player when it comes to foundation, but the NARSisist Wanted Palette is pioneering when it comes to eyes. The inclusive palette presents shadows with warm undertones for brown eyes whilst green eyes will be envious for a pop of rose gold and baby blues will sparkle against metallic flecks.

Lily Pebbles…on “English Beauty by Charlotte Tilbury”

When it comes to honest reviews, Lily Pebbles is up there with the best. So read her lips when she proclaims her belief in this new Charlotte Tilbury lipstick, English Beauty.

What do we think?

An old adage suggests that if you give a girl the right lipstick she will conquer the world, or was that shoes? Jokes aside, red hues may be scene stealing but nudes can be a great daytime default. Opt for a shade lighter than your natural colour for a sexy look. Recommended for lovers of Pillow Talk, English Beauty has a more pinky hue with a matte finish. Leaves lips lusciously plump.

And “Film Star Bronze and Blush by Charlotte Tilbury"

Lily Pebbles gives an overall thumbs up for this product and her cut away shots are a great way to get closer to the product and the fabulous packaging. On a personal note, for Lily Pebbles, the mid tone bronzers warm her complexion whilst the pink is a little too ..pink! However she does suggest that Charlotte Tilbury is set to launch more of these palettes with peachy tone blushes! Will the brand fulfil her prophecy?

What do we think?

The product has an intentionally light touch which has caused some murmurings of dissatisfaction, possibly due to our hangover of aspiring to a deep golden tan in the noughties. Committing faux glow is now a faux pas, so with that in mind this natural Film Star Bronze and Blush is winning.

Zoella… on Tarte Shape Tape Contour Concealer

With over 12 million subscribers Zoella is undoubtedly a true makeup saint.

A self-confessed Tartlette, Zoella’s love affair with their products continues. This time she is praising the Tarte Shape Tape Contour Concealer. With an oversized applicator brush she states that the product is super easy to apply, resulting in a flawless finish every time.

Do we agree?

Indeed we do! Zoella is telling the absolute gospel truth! The product miraculously covers any blemishes whilst  strobing and coloring. Furthermore, the formula does not set in any fine lines, could this be the fountain of youth?

Happy Shopping to you all!
